What does Klaros-Test­management cost?

The Community Edition is available free of charge. The Enterprise Edition costs €3,480 and includes one year of support and maintenance. The Mobile Edition costs €4,960 includes support for the freely available app for mobile execution of test cases as well as all features of the Enterprise Edition. The price of the Mobile Edition includes support for the simultaneous use of up to 10 mobile devices and one year of support and maintenance. There are graduated prices for the use of more mobile devices. Please ask us, we will make you an offer.

How can I try out Klaros-Test­management?

You can use our online demo for an uncomplicated start. Alternatively you can follow the "Get Trial License" link on our website and request a 30-day trial license. You can download the ~160MB install file under the heading "Download".

How is Klaros-Test­management Licensed?

The Community Edition can be used free of charge, even for commercial purposes. A license for the Enterprise Edition is limited to one server for an unlimited number of users. A license for the Mobile Edition is limited to one server and up to 10 mobile devices.

Are the 3 editions different products?

No, all features are contained in the product and are unlocked by us using license keys.

What is the difference between the Mobile Edition and the Enterprise Edition?

The Mobile Edition offers support for execution and documentation of Test Cases with a mobile device in addition to the web application.

Can I easily switch from the Community Edition to the Enterprise Edition or the Mobile Edition?

Yes, an existing installation of the Community Edition can be converted at any time by installing an Enterprise Edition or Mobile Edition license key. Existing data will remain, you can continue working seamlessly.

Can the Enterprise and Mobile Editions also be used on a time-limited basis?

Yes, you can also use Klaros-Test­management as a Cloud/On-Demand service. The usage period can be booked monthly or yearly at a lower price.

The number of assigned testers changes during the development process. Can I adapt my SaaS variant?

Yes, you can switch between the Small, Standard and Premium options at any time after the expiration of a usage period with no extra charge. Please speak to us about the terms if you want to change to a larger plan during a yearly usage period.

 
 


Order, Payment, Delivery


How can I order Klaros-Test­management Enterprise Edition or Mobile Edition?

You can order by email or fax. In each case, we need the following information:

  • Your full name
  • The name of your company
  • The billing address of your company
  • For orders from EU countries, the VAT identification number
  • The edition you wish to purchase (Enterprise or Mobile)
  • The number of licenses you would like to purchase
  • In the case of the Mobile Edition, the number of mobile devices you wish to use simultaneously
  • The e-mail address to which we should send the invoice and the license to
What happens after my order?

Within one business day we will send you a PDF document by e-mail containing your order confirmation and invoice, which you can check for accuracy. In addition you will receive the software maintenance contract and the software license contract as well as a temporary 30 day license key by request, in order to begin work straight away.

What happens after receipt of payment?

After we receive the full sum you will receive the license key, made out to the name and server ID you have provided, under which Klaros-Test­management should be installed. In addition, you will receive a delivery slip continuing the confirmation of receipt of payment and the delivery date.

How can I pay?

The invoice you receive from us is due upon receipt. We currently only accept Euro bank transfers and international money orders as payment methods.

Which currencies do you accept?

Currently we only accept payments in Euro. Please contact us at sales@verit.de if this is not possible for you.

Are credit card payments possible?

At this point payment is only possible through bank transfers and international money orders.

Where can you find our bank details?

Our bank details are not published on the website. You will receive them with your invoice.

 
 


Support and Maintenance


Is there support for the Community Edition?

In general, we provide no support for the Community Edition free of charge. However, we supervise our community forum quite closely, so you are welcome to post your questions there. If you in need of further assistance, please contact us for a quote.

What support is available for the Enterprise Edition and what does it cost?

Support for the Enterprise Edition for the first year is included in the purchase price. This includes a software maintenance contract valid for one year upon receipt of order. Included in this maintenance contract is comprehensive e-mail and forum support as well as a free upgrade to all new versions within this time frame.

How long does the maintenance contract last and what happens after?

Purchase of the Enterprise Edition or Mobile Edition includes a maintenance contract which is valid for a year after receipt of order. Before the end of this period we will contact you regarding an extension of your maintenance contract. You will then have the opportunity to extend your maintenance contract for 50% of the price of the initial purchase. If you intend to extend your maintenance contract we recommend that you do this 30 days before it expires.

What happens if the maintenance contract expires?

If you do not require any support or further updates you can simply let the contract expire. You can resume the contract at any time.

How can I renew a maintenance contract?

You can renew a maintenance contract at any time. The extension of the contract begins on the expiry date of the previous maintenance contract, independent of the date of purchase of the maintenance contract renewal.

How often is Klaros-Test­management updated?

In general there are 3-4 feature releases per year as well as irregular maintenance releases when necessary.

How do I get updates?

We inform you by e-mail when a new release is available. All new versions can be downloaded at http://klaros-testmanagement/download.

Do I need training in Klaros-Test­management?

Klaros-Test­management requires some basic understanding of the areas of software quality assurance and test management. Our extensive documentation (PDF and HTML) will teach you how to use Klaros-Test­management. If you have need of specific training, please contact us for an offer.

I require professional services. What do you offer?

How much do you charge for professional services?

We charge €120 per hour. The smallest bookable unit is 30 minutes.

We use an unsupported application. Can Klaros-Test­management be adapted to work with it?

We strive to make Klaros-Test­management as open as possible and to enable seamless integration with existing tools and environments. Please contact us. We will then investigate if and with how much effort your adaption can be implemented.
