What is the price of Klaros-Testmanagement?

The Community Edition is available free of charge. The Enterprise Edition costs 2980,- € and includes one year of support and maintenance.

How is Klaros-Testmanagement licensed?

The Community Edition can be used freely, even for commercial purposes. A license for the Enterprise Edition is limited to one server with an unlimited amount of users.

Are the Community Edition and the Enterprise Edition two different products?

No. You start by downloading the Community Edition. If you like to use the additional features of the Enterprise Edition, you may order a trial license key valid for 30 days or purchase a permanent license.

Can I purchase a time limited version of the Enterprise Edition for a single client project?

No. In our experience, it is useful to establish Klaros-Testmanagement at the customers place after finishing the initial project. to keep track of further development.

Can I easily switch from the Community Edition to Enterprise Edition?

Yes, an existing installation of the Community Edition can be converted at any time by installing the license key of the Enterprise Edition. Existing data will remain, you can continue working seamlessly.

I want to change the server Klaros-Testmanagement is installed on. What happens to my license?

Please send us an e-mail with the server-key of the new installation. It can be found in Klaros-Testmanagement on the "System Information" in the "Configure" section. you will receive a new license key no later than the next business day.

 
 


Order, Payment, Delivery


How can I order the Enterprise Edition of Klaros-Testmanagement Management?

You can order through our online form, our Order Form (download here) or by e-mail. In any case, we need the following information:

  • Your full name
  • The name of your company
  • The billing address of your company
  • For orders from EU countries, the VAT identification number
  • The number of licenses you want to buy
  • The email address we should send the invoice and the license to
What happens after my order?

We will send you by mail a PDF document containing an order confirmation and your invoice, which you can check for accuracy. Within one business day you will receive another e-mail with a temporary, 30 day license key to unlock the Enterprise Edition. You can now use the new features.

How can I pay?

The invoice you receive from us is due upon receipt. As payment methods we currently only accept Euro bank transfers and international money orders.

What currency do you accept?

Currently we only accept payments in Euro. Please contact us at sales@verit.de if this is not possible for you.

Which credit cards do you accept?

Currently none. We are looking into this issue.

Where can I find account information for my money order?

Our account details are not published on our web site. You will receive them with your invoice.

When and how do I receive my copy of the Enterprise Edition?

The Enterprise Edition can be obtained by activating the Community Edition with a valid license key. Once your order is processed, you will a license file to unlock the additional functions via e-mail. This license is temporary valid for 30 days . After payment you will receive your time unlimited license key with the installation instructions by e-mail.

 
 


Support and Maintenance


Is there support for the Community Edition?

Please note, that we do not offer any free support for the Community Edition. But you are invited to use our community forum to ask your questions or post your suggestions, which we quite frequently attend. If you are in need of further assistance please contact us for a quote.

What support is available for the Enterprise Edition and what does it cost?

Support for the Enterprise Edition for the first year is already included in the purchase price. This includes a software maintenance contract, valid for one year upon receipt of payment confirmation. As part of this maintenance contract we provide comprehensive support for the Enterprise Edition by e-mail and forum and it entitles you for a year for a free upgrade to all newly released versions released in this period.

For how long does the the maintenance contract run?

The purchase of the Enterprise Edition includes a software maintenance contract, valid for one year upon receipt of payment confirmation. Before the end of that period we will contact you regarding an extension of your maintenance contract. You will then have the opportunity to extend your maintenance contract at a price of 50% of the initial purchase for an additional year. We recommend to extend the service contract 30 days before it expires, if you plan to extend it.

What happens when the maintenance contract expires?

If you do not require any support and further updates, you can let the contract run out easily. You can resume it at any time.

What happens if I want to renew a maintenance contract?

You can resume a maintenance contract at any time. The extension of the maintenance contract starts on the expiry date of previous maintenance contract, no matter at what time the renewal of the maintenance contract is purchased.

How can I receive support for Klaros-Testmanagement?

You can reach us by e-mail to support@verit.de or call +49 0631 520 840 00. We are available from 09.00 clock - clock 12:00 (CET) and from 13:00 bis 18:00 clock clock (CET). E-mails as quickly as possible and at least answered the next business day. We prefer queries via e-mail.

How do I get updates?

We inform you by e-mail when a new release is available. All new versions can be downloaded at http://klaros-testmanagement/download.

Do I need training in Klaros-Testmanagement?

Klaros-Testmanagement requires some basic understanding of the areas of software quality assurance and test management. Our extensive documentation (PDF and HTML) will teach you the usage of Klaros-Testmanagement. If you have the need for specific training, please contact us for an offer.

I need professional services. What do you offer?

How much do you charge for professional services?

We charge an hourly rate of 120€. The smallest unit booked is 30 minutes.

We already use products from other vendors and/or open source products. Can Klaros-Testmanagement be adapted to work with them?

We strive to make Klaros-Testmanagement as open as possible to allow a seamless integration in existing tool environments. Please contact us, we then consider whether, and can be implemented with as much effort to adapt.

What are the prerequisites in order to use Klaros-Testmanagement?
