would be great to be able to share test environments amongst projects! unlike SUTs, these are usually not project specific.

Depending on the situation the 'usually' may apply more or less here.
We opted for keeping projects as self contained as possible and designed the database and internal logic around that.
What is your use-case for a sharing of environments despite saving the effort of creating them for each project?

just saving time and maybe consistency in spelling. the user case is less likely if we buy into the one project for all of our products idea from the related copy / share test cases post!
