Link to System Under Test Attachment(s) from Test Case

In our process, we're testing several versions of a software. Each different version of this software is represented by a different System Under Test in Klaros so it makes total sense to attach the Software installer as an Attachment of the System Under Test.
Some of our tests are related to Installing or Upgrading the software, and therefore, it would be extremely useful to provide the download link to the software (the specific System Under Test being tested) directly in the Test Case instructions.
Is there a way I could reference the Attachment(s) of the specific System Under Test being tested from the Test Case instructions?

Hello Matthias,

You can link directly to any attachment using the provided download link. You can than add the URL to your test case step action as a link.

Thank you for your reply Torsten, but it is not exactly what I am looking for.
I would like to be able to dynamically reference the attachments of the SUT being used during a given Test Execution.

For example, in my test step instructions I could have the following text:
Download the installer here: %sut:attachments%

Then when the user executes this test, he would see the names of the attachments associated with the SUT that was selected when executing the test. Those attachment names would of course be clickable with the download URL of the attachment:
Download the installer here: My SUT Attachment 1, My SUT Attachment 2

Does that make sense?

Or, alternatively, a way for us to show the SUT Details from our test instructions.
From there, the attachments are already available:

The solution to this issue has been provided with the 5.7.1 release from 21.01.2025.

The issue reported at https://www.klaros-testmanagement.com/en/forum/-/message_boards/view_message/835166 has indeed been fixed in 5.7.1.
However, that doesn't help with the question I have on this post. 
Let me try to clarify:

We have several Test Cases where the tester needs to download an attachment. This attachment is the System Under Test (the software version we're testing).
Therefore, we would like to be able to provide the tester a way to download the System Under Test attachment(s) directly from the Test Case instructions.

I agree that right now, they can do it from there when they Start the Test Execution:


But this is not what we need. We need to be able to access the "SUT Details" popup (see below) directly from the Test Case instructions


For example, this could look like this:

Thank you for your input, this makes sense and should be easy to add. I raised the improvement issue KLAROS-5402 to see this resolved in the next release.
