Best regards

Welcome Christiane,
You are not the first requesting this .
We are planning to support pasting screenshots from the clipboard into Klaros in a near release (KLAROS-1444 - Support pasting clipboard content to attachments directly). Is this what you had in mind with the first point?
Did you know that you already can reference attachments in your test descriptions by copy/pasting their download url like shown here?
These will automatically be rendered as hyperlinks when displayed as text (this will not work in input fields though).
If this is not enough, can you please elaborate on what you are expecting for a direct display?
Thanks for your feedback!
Regards,
Torsten

Thanks for the quick reply.
I have one quick question. Is a screen shot shown with a link? I think a miniature display (which will be enlarged by clicking) or the entire presentation is better. It saves additional click and you have a good overview. The test step will not be superimposed on the image.
Best regards,
Christiane B.

Hi Christiane,
when rendered inline in a text URLs are currently shown as plain hyperlinks as there is no meta-information available which allows us to guess the mime type of the link target (In the general case a URL may as well point to e.g. a big binary file).
To achieve what you are asking for, we really would need rich text field support with an HTML tag subset. This has already been requested here and on several other occasions via mail but will still need some time to be available.
Supporting rich text would impose limits on the supported output media, as not all export formats (e.g. Excel) may not be able to render all rich text information correctly.

Torsten
