We are happy to announce the release of Klaros-Testmanagement version 3.5.6.

This release introduce a general keyword search, change history and sophisticated conflict handling for concurrent write accesses to database objects as well as a significant performance increase and reduced memory requirements.

The 3.5.6 maintenance release fixes a bug during creation of new test cases.

Existing users are strongly encouraged to upgrade.

We are pleased to announce version 3.4.10 of Klaros-Testmanagement.

This maintanance release fixes bug with sub-job generation and increases performance of job related actions. Existing users are encouraged to upgrade.

For users of the Enterprise Edition the new release introduces to following new features:

  • Objects like test cases and test suites can now be assigned to definable categories
  • Print views of test cases, test suites and test results can now be accessed directly from the results pages

 

The Community and Enterprise Edition both gain the following new features:

  • Test execution can now be carried out with a tabular view of test steps
  • Multiple selection is now available in table views. This allows quick operations on large amounts of data
  • Errors can now be assigned to individual test steps
  • HTTP and SOCKS proxies are now supported
  • Read-only access to the content repository via WebDAV/HTTP from outside Klaros

This time the new release focuses on increased speed and stabilizition as well as improving the user experience. The developers fixed 32 bugs, and created over 30 improvements and new features:

  • The test step administration has been revised and now manages multi-line step descriptions and a new field for expected results
  • The test execution window has been redesigned and shows more detailed information, multiple-line descriptions and fixes controls on the same position
  • Newly created users now receive their access credentials via email
  • The execution of test suites can now be aborted at any time
  • The test suite results show a summary of their test results
  • The built-in reports are able to show skipped tests
  • The already added tests are marked accordingly when creating test suites
  • The Mantis and Redmine integration has been updated

 

All these improvements are available both in the free Community Edition as well as included in the Enterprise Edition.

Especially for the Enterprise Edition the definition of labels and descriptions for report parameters has been added for customizable reports, as well support has been added for searching and filtering of custom properties.

Version 3.3.1 fixes a database initialization problem which prevented users to login to fresh installations.

Version 3.3.2 fixes an authentication problem with Redmine when Klaros credentials differ from the Redmine credentials and contains several reference manual additions.
 

This maintenance release contains over 70 improvements and bug fixes for Klaros-Testmanagement 3.2.

This release fixes some severe issues when connecting to Redmine and Trac issue trackers, so users of previous versions are encouraged to upgrade to this release.

For users of the Enterprise Edition the new release introduces a complete new planning component, which allows to assign test execution and other jobs to users and track their progress.

The Community and Enterprise Edition both gain the following new features:

  • A redesigned test step definition interface to allow more input and improved usability
  • Support for Redmine 1.0 and later
  • Support for Jira 4.1
  • Issues can now be created directly without having to run tests
  • Test cases can be copied from one project to another


And as always this release contains an impressive list of smaller improvements, tweaks and bug fixes.
