We are happy to announce the public availability of the third release candidate of Klaros-Testmanagement 5.0.

Version 5.0 offers a completely overhauled user interface, a fundamental redesign of the database access and many other new and interesting details.

We are looking forward to feedback from the community and early adopters while we are finalizing this release in the next days.

As it is common with pre-release software, this version is not yet intended for productive use.

We are pleased to announce the availability of Klaros-Testmanagement version 4.12.7

This maintenance release improves Bugzilla compatibility, extends the job update behavior while inmporting test results and fixes a library dependency for importing excel based test cases. Existing users are strongly encouraged to update.
 

The feature release Klaros-Testmanagement version 4.12 features a completely rewritten Redmine integration with support for Redmine 4.0 and is now certified to work with OpenJDK 8.

  • The new Redmine connector supports Redmine 4.0 and no longer requires the installation of a plugin
  • The royalty-free OpenJDK 8 platform is now officially supported
  • The Jira connector can now be used for token-based authentication as required by Jira Cloud

This maintenance release again features compensation for recent API changes on JIRA-Cloud instances and resolves a potential security issue with Tomcat Application servers (aka GhostCat). It also fixes a resource leak when accessing Jira instances. Existing users are strongly encouraged to update.

Docker Logo In addition to the native installation under Windows and Linux, Klaros can now also be operated as a container within a docker-based environment. The application can be installed and managed in isolation, making updates easier to perform.

The Docker integration is available as an open source project on GitHub and can be downloaded from there free of charge. Supported databases are Apache Derby, MariaDB, MySQL, PostgresSQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
