Hi guys,
we have a server on which tomcat is up and running. I'm wondering is it still mandatory to install tomcat bundled with klaros tool. if not how to install

Hi Nagarjuna,
we are supporting and testing Klaros with the supplied Tomcat version only, which also contains some configuration changes from a vanilla Tomcat distribution.
With this approach we are also able to update the distribution on a regular basis and ensure that JVM memory settings are configured properly.
If you are feeling adventurous you can of course try using another version of Tomcat or a completly other application server.
For this you may download a .war only distribution here and try installing it in your container.
Please make sure you are picking up configuration changes in conf/bin folders by diffing them to a vanilla tomcat distribution.
Also please note that we may change the configuration in future releases without further notice.
Please note that we will not be able to support you with any problems you may encounter, but we of course welcome any feedback on them.
Kind regards,
Torsten
P.S.: Starting with Klaros 4.3 we will switch to a bundled Tomcat 8 distribution.
