Windows service

We just upgraded our Klaros CE 3.2.3 version to the CE 3.4.7 version on a Windows Server 2008 R2..
We also installed the Windows service, but when trying to open the web page, I get an error message that the resource cannot be found.

The service was installed as instructed with the service.bat file and it is run by the user account that has the hibernate.properties file installed. The service worked perfectly in the 3.2.3 version.

When starting the tomcat server "manually" from the shortcuts that were installed, it works perfectly.

We got no error messages when installing the service. We have also restarted the server and the service.
Have anyone else experienced problems and do you have any suggestions to what can be wrong?

Thanks.

Resource not found would mean that the tomcat container is started but the web application could not be deployed or could not startup correctly. The relevant portion of logs/catalina.out should contain the details. If you send this to support@verit.de I will look over this.

It may help to stop the server, remove the webapps/klaros-web folder and restart the server in case the deployment has failed (which would be shown in the log).

Just for clarification:

You did stop the running service before attempting the update?
You are using the same user account which is running the service when updating?
You are deselecting the 'Launch Application Server' checkbox in the installer?

All of the above is highly recommended for a painless service update procedure.

Hope this helps,
