Is it possible to generate a document with all test cases including the test case steps, pre/post conditions and so on?

Hi,

Unfortunately we don't have any built-in reports which do this at the moment.

It is possible to create custom reports for use with Klaros-Testmanagement Enterprise Edition which would do this.

The process of creating a custom report is described in the documentation here.

Patrick

Additionally there is also the print preview link available which renders all this data in a printer friendly way.

Look for the printer icon on the upper right hand side of the test case detail pages. This is also available for test suites and test results and is an Enterprise Edition feature.

Just of curiosity; will this type of report for all test cases be a standard report that will be available in the future? It would be great to review and compare test cases? I'll look into the documentation for creating a custom report.

Thanks Torsten and Patrick for helpful and informative answers. emoticon

Sooner or later, yes.

We are preparing for changing the internal reporting engine implementation we are using (which is different from the one you are using for custom reports btw.) in a future release, so not much effort is currently planned for extending the existing standard reports.

One of the custom reports is a good starting point for what you would expect as such a report, albeit limited to reporting on a test suite currently.
