Test Case Management for Jira - Klaros Test Management

  • Maintain test cases and test planning
  • Perform test runs and record test results
  • Create issues in Jira and link them to test cases
  • Track issues, test results, activity and progress

Easy Test Management Integration with Jira

Jira projects can be easily integrated with Klaros Test Management.

This is achieved by adding a new Jira entry containing the project url to the list of managed issue management systems in Klaros Test Management.

In order to access a Jira-Cloud instance from Klaros Test Management, an API access token must first be generated to authenticate with Jira.

Your email address and the token should be used to authenticate against your Jira-Cloud instance.

For Jira Server instances you simply use your user name and password.

The Jira project can then be assigned to any Klaros project.

Bidirectional Issue Management in Jira and Klaros Test Management

During or after performing a test in Klaros, issues may be directly created and edited while automatically forwarding them to Jira.

The issues created via Klaros Test Management are immediately available in the Jira project.

An automatically generated link in the issue allows you to switch back to the test case in Klaros Test Management with a single click.

A regular comparison with the issues stored in Jira takes place in the background.

If issues are changed or closed there, these changes are also automatically visible in Klaros.

Neither the test team nor the development team has to leave their respective tools. Nevertheless, both always have the current status of all issues.

The status of the issues stored in Jira and of the issues stored in the test management is always up-to-date.

Test case results can be processed into individual reports in Klaros Test Management.
