The exploit listed as CVE-2021-44228 was made public on December 9, 2021.

The vulnerability has a CVSS score of 10.0 out of a possible 10 and impacts Apache Log4j versions 2.0-beta9 to 2.14.1.

Klaros-Testmanagment is not affected by this. The vulnerable library is/was never part of the application.

Further measures are therefore not necessary in this regard.

The custom report creation in our tutorial has been updated to the newest version of Eclipse and Java. In addition, the example report that is used throughout that chapter has been reworked.

Bulk options for external systems
Multiple issue management systems and requirements management systems can now be edited and deleted at once. Aditionally, administrators can bulk restore or purge external systems.

 

Details pages for external systems
All Issue management systems and requirements management systems now have their own individual details pages where the linked projects and the change history is displayed. Attachments can now also be uploaded from these pages.

 

Support for alternate keys for the REST-API
We've expanded the ways that objects (test cases, results, et al.) of a single project can be retrieved via the REST-API.

 

Speed up loading of large object lists via the REST-API
The REST-API has been significantly optimized. In addition to that, deleted objects are no longer transferred when requesting lists of objects.

 

Faster dashboard reports
The reports on the dashboard significantly load faster, especially for large numbers of results.

 

Speed up loading of overview reports
The reports on the overview tabs of all details pages have been optimized to load faster..

New verdict 'inconclusive'
In addition to the existing verdicts (passed, failed, error, skipped), a new verdict 'inconclusive' has been introduced, which should be used if a test result cannot be clearly identified as passed or failed.

 

User defined attributes for test case results
Test case results can now have user defined attributes. These can be set during test case execution or afterwards on the test case result details page.

 

Permanent removal of report templates
A new purge function allows to permenently remove deleted report templates from the data storage.

 

Easier upload of attachments
Uploading attachments is easier than ever. Only three clicks are necessary to upload an attachment file to Klaros-Testmanagement. Aditionally, Chrome based browsers accept uploading of attachments directly from the clipboard using Ctrl-V.

 

Faster dashboard reports
The reports on the dashboard significantly load faster, especially for large numbers of results.

 

Categorization of test segments
Test Segments can now be organized in multiple categories, just like test cases, test suites and other objects in Klaros-Testmanagement.

Uploading attachments to test cases or other objects is easier than ever. Simply drag and drop files onto the upload dialog to upload them. This even works for multiple files at once.

 

User defined attributes for test case results
Test case results can now have user defined attributes. These can be set during test case execution or afterwards on the test case result details page.

 

Easier to assign requirements to iterations
Requirements can now be assigned to iterations from the requirement details page. This was previously only possible from the iteration details page.

 

Allow users to assign their test runs to other users
Testers that are currently executing a test run can assign it to another tester. Manager accounts are also able to reassign test runs.

 

Overall 14 new features and improvements and 19 bug fixes are included in this release.
