Privacy Policy for the Klaros-Testmanagement App This privacy policy governs the use of the application Klaros-Testmanagement App (in the following referred to as 'application') for Android mobile devices, created by verit Informationssysteme GmbH (www.verit.de). Privacy-relevant Android permissions requested by this app Upon starting the application for the first time the user will be asked to accept the following permissions. It is possible to decline one or more of these permissions (except android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, which is crucial for the application to operate), but doing so will severely reduce the usefulness of the application up to the point of possible crashes and data loss, due to the fact that the application expects these permissions to be accepted. android.permission.CAMERA This permission allows the user to take pictures or videos during test execution used solely to enhance test results. Pictures and videos recorded this way will only be transferred to the configured Klaros-Testmanagement installation. android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO This permission allows the user to record audio clips used only to enhance test results. Audio filed recorded this way will only be transferred to the configured Klaros-Testmanagement installation. android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE This permission is used exclusively to be able to react to incoming phone calls, so that the application can be properly suspended. android.permission.ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION The application can optionally enhance test results by adding location information to each test case step result. This application uses the ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION permission only to get a better location detection. android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE Test results, pictures, videos and audio clips recorded by the user as well as data received from a Klaros-Testmanagement server are saved on the external storage due to the size limitations of the internal storage of most devices. Thi data cannot be accessed by other applications on the device. Google Analytics This app uses Google Analytics. Only data relating to visited screens and crash reports is sent. No personal data is sent and all data is anonymized. This data helps us to improve the app. Upon starting the application for the first time the user will be asked if he or she wants to provide anonymous usage data ('Provide Usage Data') and/or crash reports ('Send Crash Reports'). In addition to this, the user can opt-out at any time from providing anonymous usage data via the 'Provide Usage Data' and/or the 'Send Crash Reports' options in the settings menu.
