9.3.2. Link Issues

While most issues get detected during execution of a test case, sometimes it is necessary to defer the issue creation, and some issues are raised on an ad hoc basis. To preserve a relation to tests it is possible to link issues created in the issue management system to test cases in Klaros-Testmanagement.

The Link Issues page lists all test cases in the currently active project. The table has five columns that show ID, name, description and the traceability properties of a test case. Clicking the button allows the page to link existing issues to the test case to be browsed.

When the button is pressed, the issues that are already attached to a test case are shown in a table. This table has seven columns, which show the id of the issue in the issue management system, the name of the issue management system, the summary of the issue, the date when the issue was created, the creator, the priority and the status of an issue. To link a new issue to the test case, an issue management system must be selected. Pressing to Link button causes the issue with the entered ID to be attached to the test case.

Clicking the link on the issue id, sends the user to the issue's page in the issue management system.
